Introduction to Aluminum Oxide Calciner:
It is a gradually matured process technology to calcinate aluminum hydroxide into aluminum oxide via dynamic calciner. It has been applied in the large-scale aluminum industry companies in China, and it is replacing the traditional rotary kiln calcination method.
The dynamic calciner researched and developed by our company is medium and small furnace type which is suitable for the annual output below 200000 tons, and this system is mainly composed of the heat source, main calciner, multi-level pre-heaters, cyclone trap, electric dust collector, material temperature cooler, thermal balancer and fan system etc.
Since the dehydrated aluminum hydroxide is fed into the pre-heater of calciner via feeder, through 2-3 level preheating process to make the water on the material surface evaporated, increase surface temperature, and then enters into the main calciner for high temperature calcination and decomposition, the decomposed aluminum oxide is trapped by the trap, after cooling by the cooler, and is discharge from the dumpling port. This system generally takes gas and natural gas as its heat source. It is composed of level pre-heater, cyclone trap, electric dust collector, material temperature cooler, thermal balancer and fan system etc. It is only a few seconds for aluminum hydroxide to decompose into aluminum oxide, which is of the features of small land covering area, low energy consumption, stable product quality.
